The ASSE 6030 Medical Gas Systems Verifier certification targets professionals who conduct testing, inspection, and verification of medical gas systems at healthcare facilities. Verifiers must test the purity and integrity of medical gas, vacuum systems, and their components. Program content is aligned to NFPA 99, NFPA 55, and other applicable standards.
Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of documented practical experience in medical gas, vacuum, and pipeline distribution system verification
- Successful completion of a thirty-two (32) hour training course covering all aspects of ASSE Standard 6030
- Passing scores on both the written and practical examinations
