Candidates and certificate holders agree to conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner and demonstrate practice-related behavior that is indicative of professional integrity.
Seven Core Obligations
All MGTI candidates and certificate holders are required to:
- Maintain professional competence
- Demonstrate work behavior exemplifying safe, competent performance with sound judgment
- Conduct activities with honesty and integrity
- Avoid discrimination based on age, gender, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, or marital status
- Avoid conflicts of interest
- Abide by industry regulatory laws and regulations
- Abide by MGTI program rules and regulations
Infraction Definition
An infraction is defined as misconduct for which acceptance into the program, granting of certification, or renewal of certification may be delayed or denied, or for which acceptance in the program or a certification may be revoked.
